Trending @Accenture; What is the worst thing that happened to you here?
I was in this project last year where they did not give any work until 2 weeks before project completion. We were literally sitting idle for hours at office. But as soon as those 2 weeks began OMG!! They used to force us to sit for more than 9-10 hours. You could not ask for WFH and they would not let us leave when we entered the building. The only good thing was that company provided food and cab facility.
When i joined i was promised to give task based on skills, after joining my TL, PM left and new lead was assgined, who had zero idea on what we are doing.
I asked for task related to my skills and for which i was hired he had no clue what i was demnanding, i reached to onshore manager and i asked the same to assign me meaningful work but they just kept promising that we would give you in next 2-3 months till the time please work on the technologies we have. I agreed but after 1 year the situation was same, so i reached to HR and demanded the same (ugh! She was fresher and had no approiate answers to my questions)
Later when i asked for roll-off things were esclated and lead to false PIP 🙃
No hikes since joining Accenture it’s been 1.5 years now.
