What is the separation process in TCS
I have recently resigned. But not sure what is the process in TCS. They just asked me to drop a mail to manager having HR in CC. Next what is the process and where can see my last working day. Is there any buy out process in the organization. I just want to move out especially from my project.
There were many politics and many false promises made by management. I have asked for salary revision last july. They agreed then didn't provide stating budget constraint.Then my onshore project manager mentioned to move to near shore to Mexico as my H1B visa was not picked.I rejected the proposal. But forced me to take it stating if I take near shore only then they will provide the option for L1A by changing roles to manager in the system. Later because of some issues at Mexico Labor laws they changed the nearshore to brazil. After all the formalities are done. Offshore manager didn't agree as there is no one to handle the team or tasks from offshore . So I resigned 2 weeks back and within 2 days they wanted to retain with the salary I requested last year. Not sure how they have the budget after I resigned.Now they are dumping more work. To complete the work within next couple of weeks which is actually scheduled for the next 3 months and then train the junior and new resources. I know what is going to happen if I revert my paper as I have experienced it for last 3 years. Last time I was so naive and took back my resignation. My work is doubled with no good bands for 2 years. So with all this in my mind I am frustrated and lot of anger towards my management and as I have resigned. I have a feeling I may say something to them in meetings which I may regret later. So right now I am doing the work assigned to me by putting extra hours. But desperately trying to avoid any talks or confronting my managers. By going to the office early in the morning and leaving after the lunch and logging in from home. So need to know any way we can buyout while serving notice.Also I am little worried as I am not sure about the separation process. I have just a mail which I have sent is that sufficient .In my previous organizations they used to have a portal for resignation where it shows the resignation date and my LWD.

I completed my Notice period just now a few days back...let me tell you I resigned in a mail to HR and My Project Manager here are the exact Words that too on Saturday
"I hereby resign from my Position at TCS, Consider this a formal intimation for resignation"
After a few days of back and fourth discussions I got an acceptance mail for resignation as I denied okaying their false promises.. And my notice period started counting from the day I sent that mail means from that Saturday
So Chill out and enjoy the show and take Sick leaves in 2-2 Batches so that you don't need approval from the manager or any documents
