What is the one non tech skill which I should develop to survive for next 15 years..
( 33 years ,M , one kid)

Budgeting
Financial discipline
Cooking (so u don’t eat out)
Cleaning (in case you can’t afford to hire a maid)
Networking (in case you need a new job)
Winning office politics (in case you want to stick around)

Managing People - It gets very important as you climb the corporate hierarchy. Having great technical skills, but average managerial skills often stifles the growth.
IMO, its often is more important than the tech stack.

I have seen a great tech guy who moved in to people manager role , total experience is 25 years, Asked to leave as ctc was higher.. The thing is nowadays organisations are letting go of people who are actually good but their ctc is high.. They are okay to take the risk with some junior but don’t want to pay more..
In the long term they suffer but the thing is as an good employee who is having high ctc what should we do …

Taxation and financial management.
