One of my known has joined Infosys last month and want to resign due to medical conditions. In this case what would be the notice period? FYI- No line written in offer letter which tells about notice period during probation. Any leads would be helpful. Thank you
Working in Infosys was not my first plan. I applied in almost 200 companies and Infosys mein mera ho gaya thaa to I straight went there. When I was doing probation, mujhe dusre company se offer mila, to I had to serve notice period in Infosys of 30 days. I told the new company that I have some emergency going on aur unka urgent hiring nahi thaa, toh sab hone ke baad I joined them.
Don’t know about the notice period in Infosys, but in Accenture it is 30 days. I’m telling Accenture because I work there. But, in many companies it is the standard notice period. So, I guess in Infosys also it will be the same.
1 month is the notice period in Infosys for employees on probation. Ab sometimes ye notice period depends on what role you’re playing in the company.
I would recommend your friend to immediately discuss this situation with the HR department. If it is genuinely just a medical case and he thinks he might return to this company in future, try to get a sabbatical. That way he would not have to leave his job, he can simply rejoin when he is fit to work.
But in any case, the notice period in Infosys is 90 days.
Vaise toh notice period in Infosys is 3 months. But if you are still in probation, you can easily negotiate it. And if it is a medical reason, HR would be considerate too.
Sab jagah pe toh the notice period during probation pe is 1 month. I guess the notice period in Infosys is also the same.

I may get admission to a b-school in june. And classes commence in june as well. How can i resign without serving a notice period and without paying money? Do HR accept situations like this?
