What is the most bizarre reason you've been rejected?
Cleared 4 rounds for a product role last month. Nailed the case study and they even discussed joining dates. Two days later HR calls to drop me.
I pushed for real feedback. HR literally told me the director felt I smiled too much during the interview and didn't look "aggressive enough" for their culture.
Idk man... just sitting here wondering if I should act pissed off next time.
Had 5 rounds of discussion for an AI PM role and after last round HR said the hiring manager felt you didnt have relevant work ex. Relevant work ex…after shortlisting and clearing 4-5 rounds lol
