What is the ideal duration of term insurance plan?

Ideal age should be the age when you expect that you will no longer have any dependents. So 60-65 is a good number.

Same reason as mentioned by @HuskyBay59, but I'd say 55-60 can also be a good range if you invest in other avenues and create a good enough corpus in your 50's only.
