What is the criteria they are looking while laying off the employees
I just came to know one of my colleague got fired. He is of 10 to 11 YOE. He is C3A and has around 17-18LPA which is not high compared to industry standards or even TCS standards. He has received A band this time and his WFO is also at 95%. Previous years he received B B A still got fired only. Where as in same account there are couple of other C3As who actually doesn't work still gets A bands and saved. Now this is a little worrying sign. As I have the same exp and CTC as his and last year i fought with management last year as they are favouring only couple of resources in Bands and other opportunities even if they are just on par with others in skill and work.
Also heard HR has fired couple of resources in other account next to my ODC at same level of experience even if their managers asked not to fire them as they have dependency in their project. So you can get fired even after having backing of your manager.
So not sure what they are actually looking at while laying off the resources.

How might have defaulted in something. Either he is swiping in and out or MLT Defaulters or not upgraded his skills or joined a lateral after 2020 or something. They picked him for some reason.
He is lateral and joined in 2021.. how does that is a criteria. His CTC is 17 for 11 YOE that is less even for TCS standards

This can be the point. The lateral who joined later 2020 after Covid on higher package with no performance,. So definitely this can be the reason.

It is depending on Unit and Project profit maybe. A low profit project is not being able to keep mid level resources who are on market std salary. It is all luck. Just pray 🙏

But how ? If many employees are in the same category in a project then how does HR pick a particular resource?. I think someone has given his name in the Fluidity list. Pakka the manager or SDM or Product owner or Program manager.

TCS gonna hire and fire kinda model and will loose major talents in coming years . Doomed to fail model . More like agnipath introduced by govt

Doesn't matter. Even people from AI are hand picked and fired.

A very scary situation in TCS.
The Employee should be hardworking, He should have no interest in Office Politics, He should be good at work, .. That's the main criteria for Fluidity list😂😂
