I have joined as PAT. Then I have become PA after one year on 11th Aug 2023. Yesterday , I completed my 2 years in cognizant.
Am I eligible for promotion for Associate?
My manager is saying you have to complete 18 months in the current role to be eligible for the next role.

yes ideally the system will only show the eligible persons if they have completed the required timeframe in current role
But if you have 5 rating there is a chance that your name will be visible for promotion
In my case i got only 3 ratings and had to wait for 48 months (from joining date) -later which i got promoted to A
Anyways the promotion cycle/system will vary every year
