CMS is like any one topic you can take up in your working area and show case the solutioning part as a new innovation made in your area of working.
One thing is to check for the person who is the SPOC for submitting as it will take some 2-3 level approvals which will be taken up by a diff team.
CM is one of the scams in T**. They market a contextual master as someone who has a deep industry, technology and business process knowledge and has solved very critical issues for customers by applying his knowledge, while in reality it's a one page garbage most of the time which is reviewed on paper and approved. That's how you become a contextual master. You get few gems as a reward point that's it.
CM is just you highlight some exceptional things u did in project ( Continuous improvement, automation etcc) with its template/ format.
