What is the brand/reputation of Akamai among recruiters?

I got a good remote offer from them (SDE2) that I'm considering joining, and it looks like a global leader in CDNs. But people I have mentioned it to didn't recognise the name and confused it for some random company. On the contrary, my current company (Razorpay) seems to be very popular among recruiters, so I am getting interviews easily. Do you know if there is a good perception of Akamai among recruiters? This would be relevant for my next switch when I'm looking for FAANG tier companies.

Akamai is not the company it used to be before. Now more than CDN it’s become an online security company. The culture isn’t great, lot of politics (depends on the department). Sort of employee friendly. Been with Akamai for over 9 years.
