What is the best way to invest for my 3-year-old niece?

I want to gift my niece or sister 50K rupees per year. What is the best way to invest this amount for her future on her name or my sister’s name? I know RD and LIC are not ideal options.

I would prefer gold for long term like 10+ years also some simple julery in locker will also make her happy when she grows and some low risk/ moderate risk mutual funds, funding your niece hobby/ likes in future.
