Bro in the case of Medical problem,it depends on the how severe it is,in the case of minor they would ask to take leaves and if exhausted need to go with LWP,but if it's some major one...you can get but still it depends on their nature of project management which has happened with some cases... Instead of it Better talk with your supervisor help and if not an escalation to his senior or else directly with the client as a last option to get the release from the project...
