What is stopping you from leaving TCS and changing your life?
This is your wakeup call my brothers and sisters at TCS
Think of the world that lies beyond the walls of TCS
It's not just a different job, but a reimagined life.
Break free from the chains that bind you. You stand at the threshold of change, one foot in the comfort of familiarity, the other hesitating on the brink of the unknown.
This is your reminder than we can get out of this place and do better things in life.
Once you realise that "True Hell Is When The Person You Are Meets The Person You Could've Been" you will try your best to leave this place for good.

Excellent pic. Thank you for this post.
I'm stuck only because of lack of skills which I'm working on, and will take action soon.

-
Lack of skills- I was in my comfort zone for years. Did enough to just be in the good books of clients. I worked hard for the client but I failed to work on my own skills and profile.
-
Bad time management- Didnโt make the most of the great resignation in 2021-2022 as I thought job market will be always good. I procrastinated a lot, didnโt utilise my time efficiently in learning and doing things that wouldโve helped me join a better company
-
Ignorant about current trends and technologies- I didnโt bother to upskill myself with the current trends and technologies. I knew that the client was using old tools but I didnโt bother to learn the tools used in the market, keep myself updated with the trends and best practices. Why- well, sheer laziness.
-
Not having quality and quantity of work that is equivalent to work experience- I gave 4 relevant years of experience but my quality and quantity of projects donโt say so. I sometimes feel my work is equivalent to finding d with 2-3 years of experience. This is make me feel under confident about my skills and capabilities.
-
No time for upskilling- 3 hours of total travel is eating away my day. In addition to pathetic time management, travelling time is eating away a chunk of my time.
-
3 months of notice period- 3 months of notice period is putting off . It feels impossible to get calls from recruiters even though one is actively applying. The only risk one can take is to resign without offer. But seeing the skills I have and the current market conditions, resigning without offer seems to be a career suicide.
Due to the above reasons, Iโm still stuck in TCS

I feel like you wrote all this from my experience, well articulated and I am tapped in same loop. Legacy technical skills and been into management for decades not helping to go anywhere

Mine also same bro. But you can utilize office transit hours for upskilling. I learned AWS from TCS bus :D

I saw many people who dnt leave organisation have side businesses or income and stay here as this is best place to focus on other activities after seeing them even i made sure i have a secondary income which actually turned out to be my primary income now๐ and salary is my secondary income

I am not really stuck but choose to work for TCS. I might be in the minority but I have awesome work life balance, good team, decent client, good upskill opportunities and I live in my home town.
I have received multiple offers in last few years but they were only better in pay from an outsiders perspective.

Surprised to hear that you have the right balance of all basic necessities... may I know what project you are working on and what skills?

Me too.. but I am more than a decade old in TCS.. I have been telling this same thing to others on being asked why m not leaving.. but now I feel as if m lying to myself.. probably m stuck in the comfort zone.. though there are many things I do not like about my job.. but .. I have become comfortable with it

Bro, sab jo technology pe kaam kar rahe the wo aj ke time PE luuul ho chuki ha or. Hum upgrade nahi kar pa rahe ha apne app ko.
Ab jayada time study karne ki adat nahi rahi. Bus this is the reason people are not changing there job.
