Trending @Accenture; What is softlock release if it doesn't turn into hard lock within 5 days.

Yesterday I got softlock mail but no one is responding properly to it. So my question is what happens if softlock doesn't turn into hardlock within 5 days ( what is softlock release) please explain to me the procedure.
