Trending @Infosys; What is “Research and Tech “ stream in power programmers bridge program

I recently got an invite for coding assessment and face to face interview which is considered to be round 2 and was asked to select between “power programmer” and “research and tech” stream, I understand what power programmer is but the latter is fairly new , anyone else has attended such an interview? If so does coding round and interview for research stream will be relevant to something else and not DSA? Any information or personal experience story will be much appreciated , thanks!!
