What is most important for you in public events?
Which one are you most particular about while choosing to go for an informal event?

Make it easy for us introverts.
If I go to an event, and if there are good interactive activities planned? Say something that can be done anonymously, then it is easier to get us to participate. Publish those details beforehand.
Depends on how informal you are making the event. Are you hosting a dog show? Can I just show up to the show and pet some dogs? I'm in.
If you have a meetup around something specific like say audio equipment, or custom keyboards, or shoes. Have a few stalls so new people looking to get into that hobby can explore easily.
I'll try to organise a friend group that has similar interests according to the event assuming it crops up in my feed, and I'm interested.
Location is kinda important. You don't want an area which has an unsafe tag on it. In such areas, people might prefer a daylight event rather than a late night event. A closed space with little ventilation or poor lighting might have the attendees uneasy.
Crowd is important, but generally if you have a focussed event, you will get the proper enthusiasts mostly, which keeps it a pretty engaging environment.

Interactive activities are dicey tbh, many people find them cringe and boring. Making something useful that is opt-in is difficult.
Discovery is the biggest challenge, lots of competition and bms and Paytm have the most reach atm. We currently don't do ads but still get enough people in Bangalore events. Trying to replicate it in other cities now.
