Theatre scene is missing Open mic events Classical music Metal concerts Jazz, hip hop/rap gigs Public Parks Indie Art exhibitions Drive in theaters and fan club screenings Heritage walks and conservation efforts
List is endless. Basically be more like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata in terms of infra for culture and community building. May also involve partnership or an occasional fight against the powers that be.
I'm currently trying a few event formats there but getting venues and monetizing well is a pain. People do want more experiences and the market is growing well.
A sense of belonging, a feeling of being at home. Trustworthy and welcoming people. Better infrastructure, public transport and connectivity. Affordability and inexpensive living.
