But what is the point to put in pip if someone already submit the pappers? I think like sales guys they are fullfilling their target.

The same way as people get promotions in the cycle there are people that go to pip.

So what is usually done is people who have put down their papers they are put in pip so managers dont need to put existing people in pip since the resigned person is anyway leaving so it wont matter

I m hearing threatening from management thru colleague that they will put resource into pip immediately incase they are asking for roll off or not completing the work. Is it possible even after discussions are completed

PIP are discussed when Talent discussion is done and that happens 1-2 months before disclosing it to the resources. So there are high chances that the resource was already a low performer before putting down the paper

Pragatism and profitability beat ethics and morals in business.
A person who voluntarily leaves project or company is given lower rating as he is now a dead weight.
Better to save those who are with you than who choose to leave.

That's the policy that these guys follow internally. Need to meet the quota, so who else is better fit for it than the guy already serving his notice period. he is a gone case anyway!

I'd rather put the management in pip. Questions to be asked - How the leaving guy is found to be less performing and only came to know after his actions.

It's crazy around here in this Org.
