What is D band in tcs ?

Folks , i have dropped a release mail from my current project and planning to have to this discussion with HR as my managers are not responding . One of my friend suggested that don’t do all these as they can give me D band as well before release ? Can somone tell Me what is D band and how does it different from C band ?
