What is Assam Teak wood

Hello when I visit local furniture shops to purchase a solid wood bed then they often say it's made of Assam Teak wood. Now the price which they quote is usually very cheap around Rs 10k for a queen size bed without storage. When I ask for real Teak wood then it's in the range of Rs 30 to 40k

So what's an Assam Teak wood. By its term it appears to be sourced from the state of Assam. What's the reality
