Trending @Accenture; what if we are put in PIP .What are its consequences?
I was tagged to PIP but my manager comforted me saying you will still stay with us. This is just a formality. 2 weeks have gone by and things have been smooth. Still 2 weeks to go. Talk to your manager and work nicely during this phase. You will get through it.
New to this, can someone explain what exactly is PIP?

So my friend was also put in the PiP and ultimately he put the resignation...and if he hasn't...then Accenture already told that we will terminate him.....he was compensated for 3 months at once and notice period was of 1 week..... so best thing is start searching new job..

My people lead has put me in PIP back to back .2nd PIP is for no reason . I left her project in March and in November month suddenly she has put me in PIP. During this time no conversation no information no contact. And now when my PIP is about to get cleared she is forcing HR and Management to Evaluate me from various Managers . What should I do in this case. She had actually harrassed me when I was in her project..After leaving her from a working project she pulled me in PIP
