What i hate about corporates
Instead of building things all they want is ppts. They want a ppt to show the mvo, potential time saved, cost involved and what not.
Then they will present this deck to different individuals in different events and would like you to customize the deck accordingly.
This kills the motivation of the team that is supposed to build the stuff in the first place.
I think this should strictly be on the managers and not the team to build these useless decks.
But that can help you to get into managerials roles as well , right?
Really, you think these ppts serve any purpose. Though I do believe that you need to show your work more than the actual work you do, but definitely not through these ppts you can expect to get promoted.
I don't get the point of excessive presentations too
