What holds you back to represent your true self ?

Do u guys follow what the first thought comes to your mind or just ignore it due to fear of being judged when ur in a group of people like office, clubs or any other social place?

If you restrict yourself then what was the reason and for those who don't hesitate what was the factor due to which you carry so much confidence and composure?

I have different kind of friends. They have different approaches to different situations. I figure out as to what and how I have to speak in-front of each of them. With people whom I do not interact much with or are my senior colleagues, or strangers, I never cross a line where I even have to give a thought that that person might judge me.

Hmm that's nice but how do u identify or reach to that situation or conclusion that now you can be your true self in front of some other person?

There’s a concept of System 1 and System 2 thinking - first thought is always intuitive as a result of system 1, first thought generally has all your biases so maybe not always go with it, to keep a check on this we have a system 2 thinking - more analytical.
