What hike will I get after switching from tcs with 2 years of experience

I have joined tcs after having 1.2 years of experience and by sept 2025 I will complete 1 year in tcs so my total experience will be 2.2 years. so what hike will I get if currently my ctc is 3.50?

Should I try to clear the wings 1 exam or switch the company, any suggestions?

I’ve cleared Wings 1 and bagged a solid 40% hike! The hike is based on percentile—specifically, you need to be in the top 25%, meaning you must outperform at least 75% of the candidates to get the distinction tag. But here's the catch: it’s not just about how many questions you get right; it’s all relative.

Scenario 1: Even if I nailed 90 questions, but the paper was super easy and the 75th percentile cutoff lies at 91, no distinction for me—because most candidates did equally well.

Scenario 2: I bombed the exam and barely scraped 20 correct answers. But if the paper was brutally tough and almost everyone else scored lower, and I still managed to be above the 75th percentile—I still walk away with a distinction. (Yep, that actually happened to me!)

For first time I heard that it's percentile based. As tcs hasn't laid down any rule, they just show whether you are pass or not
