Trending @Capgemini; What happens on PIP?

hey guys can you tell me how pip works in CG? do they terminate after one/two months? what are you supposed to do if you're on PIP?

PIP, or Performance Improvement Plan, is a chance to improve your work. You usually get 60 days to meet specific goals. If you don't improve, termination is possible. Focus on meeting the targets.

one more question is if it is a good idea to resign if you are in pip, because in pip say you're getting two months before termination but it's only two months of notice and if a person resigns like 5 days before pip ends they may get additional three months of notice..please tell me if and how i am wrong here?

hey thanks for your response but can you tell me, if you know that the work improves? i mean somebody is putting you in pip what are the chances that they're gonna say okay now you're better now we can let you stay, i mean if some manager or management is putting you in pip i guess the reason for most of the times is performance issue, i've seen in some previous firms that once a person is in pip it leads to their termination, i want to know if cg follows the same or its something different here
