What happens in tcs if I don’t work

I am in one account from 3.6 yrs and I asked for release manager is not giving any updates ..what happens if I don’t work in project they release me or they tell to put paper or they have strict action. Or they release to rmg ?

After 18 months in any project,you can take release from the project no one will hold you or ask you to put paper

This is not the policy followed in TCS at all. Here management takes it on there ego.which make it more difficult.

Take this to the HR with valid reasons to leave. HR will not hold you back after 18 months.

If u completely stop working, they will release u from the project, they definitely will not fire u. Personal experience.

Please don't stop working instead take much more time to complete the deliverables and take unplanned leaves as much as possible

Not working is okay.. but not working plus not reporting to the office may lead to termination. Ofcourse they'll warn you before termination but ideally reach out to HR if you don't want to work due to the release process.

Don't ever beak HR policies RTO as of now they're just trying to throw out people

Don't ask for release directly..rather ask for promotion and increments they will definitely release you in next quater..I have done the same.

Not working or getting into PIP or challenging them won't work but in return it may gives you trouble in your ratings, more stress and affect your health and over all affect your growth in the organization. Try to go in sync with leadership and politely request for release for some valid reasons. If this doesn't work, take these threats as a challenge and study/prepare hard and try to get an offer and move on (while moving out also try to keep the relationship positive and be aware about the back ground verifications or references or even word of mouth by these leaders in their network which can help or can harm). They will warn you and after that it will be escalated to HR who will be in favour of your managers.
