Would genuinely want to know this. Also have seen most Microsoft designers only be from iit or nid? Is this a pre-requisite? Do they not consider candidates from other design colleges?

NIFT is also considered tier 1. Talking beyond nid/nift and iit

They do take from tier 2 as well, but getting in is a bit more difficult. You'll need to find sm college connection or referral
