What do you think of Hotstar's streaming quality?

I hate Hotstar! Even with a subscription, the resolution keeps dropping, it's awful. Auto and Full HD look the same. I expect Full HD to actually be Full HD. A few seconds of buffering is fine, but constantly dropping resolution is the worst which never happened with Prime. I started to prefer Telegram over Hotstar for content except for Cricket.

One thing I missed to mention there was their app is falwless in mobile, all the problem is with their website when opened from laptop. If it's data you think, I never faced such problem in Prime or even hotstar in mobile. Even if we consider it's network problem, the option I choose is Full HD which should stay at that resolution until the next bytes are loaded like youtube but that works like I chose Auto mode and reduces the resolution gradually into the video.

Hot take. Who says their team is that great. It's all indian developers with more focus on big terms and less substance.

How are things at Hotstar?

Since Jio has taken up IPL broadcast and also HBO shows, how is the scene at Hotstar? It would be difficult for them to make money through subscription since Jio cinema is free. How is the future look like?
