What do you guys think about AI vs software engineering??
Which of these two possibilities do you think is more likely to happen in the future?
AI will take over most jobs, causing massive disruption in software engineering.
OR
AI will unlock tremendous opportunities, leading to groundbreaking innovations in software engineering.
It will be both, when google search and stack overflow came it increased productivity. Same with AI, it will increase productivity which means less people needed to deliver projects.
But with so much automation and coding, more people will be needed to maintain it.
CEO will need someone to blame for production failure.
Also what about the increasing number of senior dev in future, companies don't want more leaders they need juniors that's why after a certain age they will fire most of them, is it real ?
