What do you find irritating at your workplace?
Manager or some colleagues or work or something else??
PS: No disrespect to workplace or work as its our bread and butter. The point of the post is just other side of the coin.

People just sending a "Hi" on Slack without giving any context and expecting a response
Thats really annoying

Put this as your slack status https://nohello.net/en/

What really irritates me at the office is people who try to act oversmart, constantly poking into things and throwing in unnecessary solutions to problems that donโt even exist, just to get visibility

We used to call it DCP back in bschool, Desperate Class Participation. It has now become more prominent with copilot, and seeped into emails and not just calls. Aholes write essay long academic emails keeping leaders in cc on inventory management solutions which are not even applicable to your business scenario.

The kind of dirty politics by the senior employees and managers

In my current company there are these 3-4 senior employees, "working" 12-14 hr shifts instead of the regular timing! Because of these idiots, senior leadership gets the moat for forcing all other employees to work the same 12-14hrs as much as possible!
Work timings are 9:30-6:30, finish your damn job and GET A LIFE ๐คฌ

We have a bad work culture here like appreciation for showing up on weekends, late night even when there is nothing to do, etc.
We are not encouraged to have a hobby, playing games( apart from cricket), camping, rock climbing, cycling, music- these are seen as less valuable and too low.

Exactly! This is a toxic culture!
They basically have a problem with folks having a life beyond the office building!

Useless cunts who ask for yoe whenever you suggest a better solution than them.

Forcing everyone to be in office everyday even though things are getting delivered by WFH
