What do y’all think about companies asking for 3 months notice period.

Has anybody worked in a company that had 3 months notice period. What does it feel like ? Do you find it difficult to switch ?

I have worked in companies where I have to serve just 1 month, I’ve got an offer from product based company that is having 3 months notice period.

I know this will come back and play with my confidence later on!!

Any suggestions how to tackle this ?

Avoid Risky Decisions Do not abscond or break the notice period unless you fully understand the consequences: Experience letter issues Background verification problems Legal complications

Be Transparent From the Beginning During the first HR discussion, clearly communicate your notice period. Example: “As per my current employment contract, I have a 90-days notice period. However, I will try my best to negotiate an early release if required.” This shows honesty and willingness

It is quite common that some companies expect candidates to join within less than 1 month or immediately, while the same companies enforce a 60-90 day notice period for their own employees

Would result in lost opportunities most probably. 90+% companies don't approach someone with 90 day np.
