What do grapeviners feel?
GV is not engaging at all. Usually I get bored in a few minutes using this app. Rarely any insider info or not even troll posts. Even companies individual channels are not very engaging.
Are you comparing from last year same time, I'm 100% on board with you. The level of interactions isn't same.
Also, did you check if you are added to all communities? GV did an update some days back and removed us from some. You'll have to manually join them

- GV employees are not active in GV itself (no watercooler by unpaid intern/ comments by micheal Scott are rare these days - hope he/she is in good health)
- Also the feed has an option of posts based on your likes, this is not really a good idea if the active users are pretty less, I get it, that it was implemented due to the increased users not to get bored by the content they are unaware of
- Too much of AI/ML in engagement - I somewhere sense this did make a drift to the purpose

Totally agreed with your second point. I don't want personalised feed and they forced it.
New user here and I agree with you but still this platform is one of my favourites because others have so much mindless content. We do need more users over here though!
Need more than grapes to keep it going I guess. I think it’s hard to keep engagement high in social apps unless there’s some kind of reward or feeling there of
Or some mutual connections. Reward could be anything like funny contents, banter, anonymous friends, knowledge sharing etc
