What disciplinary action HR can take against employee for using Work Visa
I got my work visa called my manager and my leaves were approved to go to same country so I planned i will join my project there after my leaves end my manager said apply for leaves and go instead of properly checking the policy and rules neither he tried to check it and get back to me for more than a week I had initiated more than 5 mails to my onshore offshore manager and onshore lead informing intent to travel and still they never mentioned I cannot use tcs visa to travel after I travelled onshore manager said this is compliance issue now HR is not even asking once from manager why you all didn't replied to his any mail even once or properly guided him and HR is saying this is bound for disciplinary action now I am scared what action they will take
Usually there is a separate process where you submit your id card/laptop , some verification.
And travel team will book tickets for you.
You didnt go through any of this??
Travel team confirmed me there is a self arrange travel option in which I will not get paid for flights and I was fine with that as I had to anyways travel on my own also so my intention was to save TCS flight money If I had intention to use their visa for personal travel I had not initiated so many mails neither informed them I am in that country after reaching there and neither informed them I used their visa if I had been aware I can't do like this it was my 1st Work Visa
Also that offshore manager is more than double experienced than me and he had travelled multiple times on work visa but still he didn't strictly asked me not to use work visa until I take approval on mail from a particular neither guided properly but said apply leaves and go
