What band is for 4.2 rating

My manager said l will get C band bcoz I got released from the project after the rating.

There no connection between band and IPF rating. You can get any band for any rating.

Mostly the people who get released get C only, my colleague also got this and when she was assigned new project, she challenged the band and got upgraded to B somehow
