Do we need reservation? - debatable
Is the current number of reservations too high? - yes it's like ~50% wtf
Is it negatively impacting the job/college performance - yes
Is OBC reservation messed up - yes. Our rich jaat/yadav bros with Land and Land Rovers do not deserve reservation.
Lastly why does nobody asks till when should reservation last? After how many years can we say the positive effect of reservation has countered the effects of historical bad treatments and negatives? Because if it will last forever then it's not helping the worse of sections of the society it's abusing the system for self benefit
It would be political suicide to even make a statement about reservations. If anything, politician can keep milking the caste census and reservation to hide his underperformance and accountability

Going by trend in the poll, if there are limited people from the reserved category here, which is in turn a representation of corporate folks. We have a long way to go, I also looked around at the people I work at and in my circle, anecdotal but very few people from reserved space.
