What Are the Steps Involved in the H1B Visa Process at TCS?
I'm curious about the H1B visa application process within Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Can someone explain how TCS manages this process and what steps are involved for an employee seeking an H1B visa? Lottery selection happens bw March 25 and March 31

Results will be sent out via email in batch from april 1st.

Then you need to upload documents which they use to file petition after approvals from your manager and RMG.

i) Within few days you will get a case number which you can track even outside of tcs. It may take 2 months to get it approved ii) Some cases go to RFE(Request for Evidence), in this case you have to submit additional documentation to tcs, then tcs attorneys will submit it

within 6 to 8 weeks of case being approved, they will send that original petition to your tcs branch.

you need to fill ds160 form and with the help of usvisa team pay 200$ and create application.

once payment is done, you can login and start looking for appt slots for stamping

once stamping date is confirmed , you need to get that original petition and prepare few more documents.

Stamping consists of two appts.
One for fingerprint at some VFS,
second at US consulate(called CA - Consular appt).
Once stamping is done, you need to wait for some weeks/months or even a year to find a proper onsite role.
