I think marketing, I got to know someone who handled partnerships in my previous client company (still a 3rd year student) got paid $1200 a month whereas I, a fully qualified lawyer, got paid $870 a month

Finance operations in US based Banks or Hedge funds. The route is same as tech jobs, campus and lateral hiring. If you are from decent college, you can get placed easily with a pay of 10 lacs/annum fixed beside the bonus and other stuff.
