What are the essential attributes and values you seek in a life partner?
Here's my list (27F)-
- Financial Responsibility (by this I mean stability, and not unrealistic LPA expectations. However I'd definitely lookout for attributes such as debt management, spending habits, savings goals, etc).
- Loyalty (this quality is of utmost importance, non negotiable)
- Shared values (Integrity, honesty and spirituality)
- Respect and inclination towards our families and culture (especially if we belong to different communities/regions)
- Ambitious and hardworking (i do not seek for someone with family's net worth, but will definitely choose a person who makes it/is making it from scratch, who has his goals chalked out, and who is working hard to achieve them. Potential>Present NW)
- Good communicator (especially reassurances and words of affirmation)
- Empathetic, emotionally available and kind.
- Family (should be kind, accepting and respectful towards me cuz let's be honest, I'm marriages in india aren't just about husband and wife)
- Last but not the least, ADVENTUROUS, SENSE OF HUMOUR and SOMEONE WHO IS ROMANTIC. 🥰

Let's be honest, a person with even 75% of these qualities will most likely seek someone with approx same level of maturity. Simply, why would a partner like this choose you over someone else?
