Whatever you do, don't book an Akasa or Vistara flight. Vistara has been cancelling a lot of flights daily and Akasa is just money hungry. They almost scammed me for 6k.
They are the only ones cheap 🥺
What did Akasa do? Never flown with them
So this is the weirdest thing that ever happened to me. Probably gonna make a post about it with details as well, all in all, I wanted to switch dates of my flight, so I selected the new date and flight, selected the type of ticket (flexi/saver they have 2 options) and came to summary of payment where they showed me the breakup of ticket and how much they discounted since I already had a ticket and everything, amounted to 5.4k still.
I decide that it's not worth it, so I press back and when I come back to the home page, I see they have updated my booking to the new date and that I have 5.8k payment due for that.
Called the support, they said they can't help since this is how the website works and they can't unmodify my booking since I have payment due :)
Had to cancel my entire trip to not pay that much due amount and they did not even refund me anything for the first flight I had booked.
Never flying Akasa.
Folks, Any hacks to book flight tickets with good discount. Need to book for a family trip for 5 members. Any website/card/voucher etc is fair game. I'm not sure what gives more value these days
Which site do you guys use to book flight, and also what are the tricks you follow, comment down so it will help others!
