What are some things to do in Bombay?

Have moved here 3 months ago. Wanted to explore the city and make it my own. What are. some things I should be doing over the weekend?

Want to understand the city, it's history and culture. Have recently started learning Marathi as well. I just love this city. 💗

Go and explore restaurants in Fort, Colaba, etc.
You can start off with Jimmy Boy (Colaba) which is a Parsi restaurant, have some sandwiches at Bachelor's (near Girgaon Chowpatty), Cafe Universal, Delux Kerala Restaurant, maybe if you want to visit Taj and would want to spend 1k per person, go to Shamiana (cafe in Taj hotel) and have some hot chocolate there. I prefer going to Shamiana after 11:30 in the night since the premises is calmer. It is a 24*7 cafe.

If you want to see feel the flavour of South India in Mumbai, go to Matunga. Restaurants like RamAshraya, Rama Nayak, etc. If you wish to see the culturally marathi epicenter of the city, Shivaji Park in Dadar comes to my mind. You'll find young lads playing cricket, and the older ones discussing politics here. It's here where Raj Thackeray lives, Sachin Tendulkar practiced, etc. Once you're done, go to Gypsy Maharashtrian restaurant or Aswaad.

Go to Yazdani bakery at Fort and try its bun maska. Visit Kitabkhana at Fort. Explore Marine Drive, Juhu. (Don't go to Marine on Sunday Please specially in morning) Go to stand up shows in Bandra.

Want to taste Marathi food, Go to Aaswad near Shiv Sena Bhavan Dadar.

As someone who's spent most of his life in Mumbai, I feel really sad when someone puts up replies like these. This city genuinely has nothing interesting to offer except for some generations old restaurants. Damn. But Marine Drive in monsoons - man, definitely do that as many times as you can.
