The manager is non-technical hire and he tends to question me for lack of enough tickets in Jira and why I take a lot of time for each ticket . For reference, one of my ticket is to build a churn prediction model for which I have to do the entire DS life cycle, whereas for others have bug-fix tickets and simple pipeline tickets.
Seems like you need to divide the task in their substeps and make tickets for each. Maybe thats what the manager is asking.
The JIRA is managed by client and I do not have permissions to create new tickets. The manager is from my company only, the tickets are created by the ML team on client side.
