They talk about restuarants alot. I think 60% of their conversation is around which restaurant or pub is "cute" or "vibes".
But that might be a Bangalore thing.
Also they watch alot of Indian OTT and nothing else.
Saare chutiya indian shows dekh liye but Oppenheimer nhe dekhi abhi tak, which is shameful.
I said this elsewhere and will say it here too: GenZ are entitled. This doesn;t mean anything bad. They're just entitled
I cannot explain how happy I was to just get a job, come to office on time and do the hard work when it was my first job. I used to work so hard. Without even being told
Gen Z need to be told again and again and disciplined again and again to do the basic
In a country of 1.5B people, how are people not thankful in being the top 0.1% and earning 10L+ as their first salary.
That is where I sense entitlement with most GenZs. BTW you might be awesome and apologies if I hurt you

As a GenZ I agree with you.
Our generation work for comfort and better lifestyle. Just like jiyo aur jeene doš Your generation worked for better income Your previous generation worked for better living.

Haina? Doomed gen

Pros: They're confident, they know much more than we did at their age, they are mission driven
Biggest Con: Their attention spans and dopamine levels are fucked. I imagine it will be super hard for them to pursue long term projects (building a company, making a marriage successful, writing a book etc.).
I hope I am wrong though.

They're very different from us millennials. They're not as 'scared' or 'respectful' of authority, as we were. I don't know if it's a good thing, or not. I'll be open minded.

Sometimes a thank my circumstances for allowing me to grow up in a small town in my formative years. My peers have no respect/shame towards more experienced folk. They simply do away with them.

@Ch0nkey05 I feel exactly the way you do Upbringing has a lot of difference
It is sometimes shocking how people talk to seniors/people with more experience sometimes. Using āTuā in conversation and stuff

My experience with GenZs has been mostly positive. Pros:
- Higher levels of intelligence and innovative thinking than the previous generation.
- Curiosity to learn new things and look for good work
Cons:
- Can get distracted or lose direction easily, hence the need for closer and consistent guidance
- Lower levels of work hygiene

Ideas are cheap .. execution is the real rizzz

Execution at scale is the real deal as Elon Musk points out in twitter multiple times.
Also, I must add genZ think they are tech oriented but I must say they lack depth. Searching for a library and invoking its function to get desired results is not innovation.

Had a gen z intern who didnāt do a task I briefed her with on Friday morning until Monday evening citing mental burnout. As a burnt out millennial who has been in the workforce for 8 long years, I think yāall donāt have enough work experience to be making burnout claims at your first company

@StickyGooey idk if you realise work happens to be burn out, why perpetuate that toxic cycle?

Naurrrr I definitely did not. It was a really minor task that shouldāve taken a couple of hours max. Didnāt expect her to work over the weekend and she had all of Friday and Monday š©š© I am the boss I wish I had

I work with them only when there is no other option but to go through the torchure. When you explain, they don't listen. When they have to perform - they want help. On top of it - their attitude is such that we know everything and dont tell us what to do and what not to. OK smart*** who in the hell wants to do it anyway.
Fully disrespectful, arrogant, full of ego disorganized as hell and they are proud of all these things. Amazing!
