What are some of the good areas to settle in Bengaluru

Looking for areas with good gated societies. Shops and basic amenities nearby. If possible near metro stations. Currently living in an area which is making me question whether I even want to settle in Bengaluru. Are all areas like this?

Some more context about where I currently live: No kirana stores nearby, no shop for ironing clothes only laundries who charge 30-40 rs for just ironing 1 cloth. Only standalone buildings no societies.
