Trending @Wipro; What are my chances to get promoted ?
It’s been 2 year and 4 months since I’ve joined Wipro as a fresher with holding the band B1. Recently I’ve had a conversation with my manager regarding getting promoted to B2 band and he responded positively about my work and performance and he also got me nominated this time.
But there’s this small doubt in my mind if my manager really nominated me or just bluffing me around 😑 I’ve got 3 rating every time since joining and I heard the preference is only given to those who got 4 star and above.
He mentioned that there’s almost 20 nominations this time and only half of them will get promoted and it’s a probability game here. I’ve lost my hope when he mentioned this point 🙁
So, what are my chances to get promoted ? What should I do if I don’t get promoted this coming January ?

Sorry to say , you have very less Chance of getting promoted. This cycle would be the last one for nominations
