What advice would you give to someone wanting to work in a VC firm?

Be realistic, do you have the kind of past experience and profile that a VC fund would entertain? Top funds are sadly very picky/choosy, specially in this kind of a market where thousands of people want to get into VC

Also please advice the kind of firm you want to work with. Sector and space and stage of investment drastically change the kind of job you are likely to get
