Wh6y 3 month notice period if the bench policy is only 35 days?

  1. If TCS decides an employee seating over 35 days without a project can terminate means, why is the notice period 3 Months? It is simply double standard, corporate is trying bullying here.

If bench policy they want to maintain 35 days then they should reduce the notice period to 35 days.

You’re in India. Don’t expect employee friendly rules from government of India. Companies make rules and regulations for their benefit not employees.

You have a valid point. Their logic might be if you are in project, put papers then they have to find replacement for you and KT process will be there so they need time hence it’s 90 days. If you’re on bench no responsibilities either for you or for them so 35 days. They don’t have to give you salary, benefit for them. Whatever works in their favour.
