WFO For C1
I am C1 grade associate and getting Rs 5300 as Quterly bounce and I am doing 5 days WFO but I am thinking to do WFH now as TCS is giving me 5k for 3 months and I spending 10k for month to stay in Pune . Please advice .
Don't think only qva will be affected, this will impact your whole performance, your Appraisal. Overall your growth will be affected.
Wfo for IT is completly non sense, people in tcs are not realizing that and losing talent. Certainly, there will come a time eventually they have to adapt to new working style else they will be left behind sooner or later. We just have to look for ourselves and move on.

I am also looking outside. I live in New Delhi and my office is in Noida. For me it is 4 hours of travel which is 84 KM. My monthly travel expense is around Rs 10,000. I stayed in the office for less than an hour. My last appraisal increased my monthly salary by Rs 1200. Now I am done with TCS. In a few days my 2 years will be completed in TCS. Now, I have told my TCS manager that I want permanent work from home whether it is in the current project or not. If not possible I am looking outside. From mid of June I have not gone to the office because of extreme weather. Faced anxiety attack, worst mental health and physical health. I am done with TCS and it's stupid comfort. I am now looking outside whether it is start-up or MNC I am willing to take the risk.
