WFO exception Swap In- Swap-out

I have WFO exception since last 6 months and it will continue as my reporting supervisor approves my request on monthly basis as i dont have active ODC. Now my question is if the Office swap in and Swap out is mandatory as i dont see any impact in WFO index even if i dont visit office.
