I also got 6 months WFH approval from HR and also from Manager then HR got changed and they are not approving after 3 months they are saying like HR can change the policy please read the policy. Then the policy should be 'HR Policy' not 'TCS Policy' and also that stupid guy telling that mail contains 'I approved' not 'I approved for 6 months'. My manager and delivery lead was in my email but none of them not stepping in and helping me. I got burst out. This is not a good company for laterals. There is a 6 month paternity policy. Try to utilise it and get approvals with From and To date clearly or otherwise these kind of buffon will pop out. We are not asking the HR's salary but we are trying to utilize the TCS policy but that also they are not ready to give. I have never seen such a Toxic environment.

As per doc. we can avail 6 month till child reaches 1 year of age. I checked same with my HR but he is not accepting even i showed him document screenshot and saying me dont argument on this regard. I might get approval from project but How to deal with this Stupid HR?

Copy hr, hr head, your manager, program manager as well in the mail chain.

No project is accepting me if I ask them to give WFO exception till my child reaches 1 year of age. What an irony they make policies but don't adhere to it.... Might be once they are in our shoes they'll realise what it feels like if this same behaviour is done with them

Allowed WFH for 6 months as per policy but they will not allow for the whole 6 months, but you can avail for a few months. Discuss with your supervisor / UNIT HR.

I have received Approval from project side, but still HR is denying and saying he can not assist me into it. Even i shown him policy document still he is not understanding. What to do now? Does escalating such thing with HR's supervisor would impact my career in TCS?

to avail Maternity leave in TCs, female employee should be on payroll for how long minimum??? like a new employee can avail ML ?? or is there a policy behind that too

Depends on the project. You can get it till 1 year.

Policy says upto 6 months till baby turns for 1. Purpose is childcare and bonding. So this is employee’s right agreed upon by the head of all HRs. If your supervisor is fine, your hr shouldn’t be meddling. I asked for remaining 3 months for my 9 month old baby to assist my wife. Hr agreed without issues. Just required is birth certificate.
