WFO exception doubt

As per HR policy, 6 exception are allowed in a quarter.i.e. 2 per month

Today I raised exception for 2 days but Supervisor saying he can’t approve for two days. This can be avail in panic and genuine situation. Giving some nonsense reason and said he can only approve for 1 day.

Even I have a valid confirmation email from HR about the policy.

I’m so frustrated, what should be done in this case. Request was pending from 1 week.

Planning to resign in upcoming months.

My office doesn’t have parking space too. I asked for vehicle pass but they said it’s not available for two wheeler. I have to park my vehicle outside the office on road. I fear someday, traffic police will issue a fine against my vehicle, who will be responsible for this.

Worst mistake of my life joining TCS.

I took 6 at a time. 2 requests ( 3 days) Your supervisor is mis interpreting policy as per wish

It all depends on your project and manager. I have seen people with exception since 2023. Getting B still. So RTO is myth. If you can go to ofc go. Don't give them any option to point out.

WFO exception is linked with your variable pay, promotions, grade.. So if you are not WFO also its upto you bcoz your personal performance pay wouldn't be paid as per your compensation.. So even if they didn't approve it, you don't have to bother. U should have atleast 75% of attendance in office to get your performance pays and city allowances. Maintain it to 80% atleast. WFO exception approval is apart for this..
